A 28-year-old teacher, Kwame Asante Antwi is appealing to Ghanaians to donate GHC470,000 to support him to undergo kidney transplant at Korle Bu teaching hospital in Accra.
Speaking exclusively to this reporter, Naomi Nyanzu, the only sister of the patient, disclosed that his junior brother has been battling with the disease for three years now.
"He is the only sibling I have and he has been battling with kidney failure for the past three years now", she said.
Naomi Nyanzu who comes from Gwira Bamiankor in the Evalue-Ajomoro Gwira of Western Region, told Daniel Kaku that, "He is a teacher at Abetifi JHS in the Eastern Region and a registered member of GNAT. We come from Bamiankor but he is staying with his father at Koforidua in the Eastern Region".
"He is on dialysis at Koforidua Central hospital", she revealed.
She is therefore, begging Ghanaians to help the family to get the GHC470,000 to save the life of Kwame Asante Antwi.
"In fact, the family is broke, we need money to do the transplant for my only brother, any amount anybody will contribute with be appreciated to save his life", she appealed.
"He is the only son and only sibling I have, his second life chance depends on Ghanaians now and I will be happy if they help him to return life again, I'm on my knees begging Ghanaians to help my dear brother", she added.
