A heist at a mobile store in Kwame Danso, Sene West District, Bono East Region, resulted in the deaths of two persons.
According to reports on rainbowradioonline.com, three additional persons have been hurt.
On July 22, 2023, at 7:40 p.m., the attack took place.
About four armed assailants broke into the store and made off with phones and accessories worth several thousands of Ghanaian cedis.
Several minutes after a power loss in the Kwame Danso neighbourhood at around 7:40 p.m., the suspects allegedly entered the store and fled the scene before the lights were restored.
Abubakar Karim, 19, and Adamu Ibrahim, 40, both lost their lives.
The wounded have been taken to Yeji for additional care.
At the time this report was written, the Sene West District Police Command had made no arrests.
The victims' loved ones have requested that the police make an arrest.
