Lamptey, 21, also known as "Bukom Bomber" or "Show Time," and Richard Pumicpic, a 33-year-old Filipino. In 12 fights, he has yet to lose.
A win would bring him closer to his goal of becoming the undisputed champion of the Super Featherweight division, a division in which he already holds many titles.
Lamptey is widely regarded as Ghana's next great boxer after being named the 2021 SWAG Boxer of the Year.
He has won titles from multiple organisations, including the Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA) at super featherweight, the World Boxing Council (WBC) at youth silver featherweight, the World Boxing Organisation (WBO) at youth featherweight, the Universal Boxing Organisation (UBO) at african featherweight, and the West African Boxing Union (WABU) at super featherweight.
