Ghanaian striker Patrick Twumasi has officially signed with Cypriot club Pafos FC.

Patrick Twumasi, a striker for the Ghana national team, has officially transferred to Pafos FC of the Cypriot Premier League.

According to GHANAsoccernet.com's sources, the 29-year-old forward has signed with Pafos from Israeli Premier League team Maccabi Netanya for a sum of around 550,000 Euros.

He joined Maccabi Netanya in February of last year and scored 16 goals while adding five assists in 48 games.

He played in all 33 games for Netanya last season, contributing 9 goals and 4 assists, and helping them win the Toto Cup.

An emotional departure ceremony was held by the Israeli team for one of its recent star players.

Twumasi has previously played for Hannover 96 in Germany's Bundesliga 2, Gaziantep FK of Turkey's Super Lig, and Deportivo Alavés of Spain's Primera La Liga, for whom he appeared in 11 games.

The former Black Stars striker has played for FC Astana of Kazakhstan, Amkar Perm of Russia, and FK Spartaks Jurmala of Latvia.

Pafos, who finished fourth in the Cypriot League in 2022–23, are prepared to challenge for the title in the upcoming season, 2023–24.
