After putting up his boots, Hearts of Oak defender Samuel Inkoom says he plans to work in player management.

The former Black Stars right-back is 34 years old and is nearing the end of his career with numerous clubs in Europe as well as the national teams.
In an interview with 3FM, he stated that he would begin scouting and hiring players to manage so that more Ghanaian talents may benefit.
According to him, being a coach after playing football is not always advisable because there are other parts of the game that may be explored.
"Aside from coaching, there are many other things that players can do in football." When you are a legend, you are not always expected to be a coach. No. You may scout, learn player management, and other things."And this is exactly what I intend to accomplish. When I become a player manager, I want to help the young ones because Ghana has a lot of promise, but they need a solid platform to showcase their talent."
Inkoom was a vital member of the Black Satellites' U-20 World Cup victory in 2009. He was also a key player for the Black Stars in their historic run to the World Cup quarterfinals in 2010.
