No amount of money, not even £25 million, will allow us to go on a shopping binge. It's to our advantage to keep him inside, so that's what we'll do.There have been offers for him, but we intend to hold on to him if at all possible.
"But I think that will always be a constant for us: the pursuit of ways to improve the team through recruitment."

Guernsey-born Scott signed a four-year contract with Bristol City on his eighteenth birthday after joining the club's academy in 2019 from his native club, Guernsey FC.
He started 42 of last year's 46 league games and was named the Championship's Rookie of the Year at the conclusion of the 2022–23 season.
As far as I'm concerned, we've made our stance pretty plain as a football club, and that is for anybody to gain the opportunity to talk to him we're talking about £25 million, so I don't know how many proposals there have been," Pearson added.
