News coming in indicates that a service personnel, who happens to be a nurse, has been raped by three boys at Enyiresi, in the Eastern part of Ghana.
The Enyiresi Government Hospital is currently in total dismay due to what has happened to one of their staff.
According to the news and the interviews Gabs Feed Media conducted with some of the town’s residents, the nurse had closed from work, so she decided to move to her abode to rest, but the unthinkable happened.
The victim narrated the whole incident and how they were able to succeed in raping her.
She noted that the three guys ambushed her while she was on her way home. She said, “I got off work, so I decided to go home and take a nap.” When I was going, I met three guys on the way who crossed me and told me to stay mute if I wanted to live.”
She continued, “They had guns and other scary gadgets on them, which made me scared. They started harassing me and wanted to sleep with me. I didn’t want to shout because I was scared they might kill me, so I had to surrender to their plea and allow them to do what they requested.”
She then mentioned that she needed to give them condoms to protect her from getting any sexually related diseases like HIV or other deadly infections.
The saddest part of the incident is that the nurse who was raped by these young guys would be getting married in a few months.
Thus, people have started expressing concerns that it might affect her marriage if her partner decides to quit based on the issue that happened.
The three rapists have been arrested by the police. They are currently in police custody for further interrogations and examinations before they present the case to the court for final judgement.
This incident made the nurses in the town vow to leave because they were also scared they might be raped since one of their colleagues had been raped.
They are currently in a dilemma about whether to stay or move out of the town since they find the environment unconducive and dangerous to work in.
Meanwhile, the hospital’s director arrived to persuade the nurses to relax their thorax and promised that an ungodly incident would not occur again under their supervision.
The suspects are likely to spend 40 years in prison for defiling an innocent nurse.
