When Will You Stop Lying To Ghanaians? Kwame Jantuah Punches Bawumia With Facts

Sat, 3 Sep 2022 Source: gabsfeed.com

A member of the Convention People's Party (CPP), Kwame Jantuah, said the vice president's claim that the Akufo-Addo-Bawumia government has done better than any other government since independence can never be true.

Speaking on TV3 NewDay on Friday, August 25, stared by gabsfeed.com, he said the current administration controls all of Ghana's resources, comprising gold, oil, cocoa and many others, in addition to around 30 million human capital, and it should have been able to do better, but that is not the case.

Speaking of that even if the current regime has to be compared to the government of Ghana's first president, he said "there is nothing to measure" and asked: "Yesterday, when the vice-president spoke, he said they had done better since independence, eh."? How can he say that,? he wondered.

He stated that Ghana is self-sufficient, has industries, good transportation services, education is the best and a variety of others even with limited human resources, but the same cannot be said of this Ghana despite all resources

“The periods are different, periods that cannot be compared. If you recall the independence era of Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah with today, there is nothing to measure. We had industries, we made everything, people went to school, okay, there was good public transport, what didn't we have then, do we have it now? Do we have these things today? he quizzed.

"And assuming the population back then was 6-7 million, the population is now about 30 million, and shouldn't we do better with the kind of natural resources that we have in humans, and that's the largest natural resource you can have. People. What are we doing? Mr Jantuah asked.
