Ras Nene has been trending for the past few days since his interview with media personality Deloris Frimpong Manso known widely as Delay.
The actor narrated how he suffered when the kumawood industry went down. According to him, he gathered all his savings of Ghs70,000 and invested it in galamsey. After getting 40,000 back he was more energized to do more till he recoups his investment but the plan failed.
Ras Nene continued by narrating how his friend suggested they should visit a native doctor for some rituals to be performed for them to mine more gold but he turned the idea down. He then divided the land and gave his friend his portion so he can do the rituals. To his surprise he did and bought two brand new pickup while he Ras Nene was going down.
He became broke and has to borrow another 50,000 to reinvest but to no avail. This made his friend who borrowed him the money got him arrested after nothing worked for him. He was arrested because he couldn’t pay back.
After being remanded for few months, he was released by the same person who ordered his arrest. That was when he thought of doing comedy after meeting few friends who gave him the idea.
Ras Nene is currently one of the best comic actors in Ghana entertaining people with their content.
