United Cadres congratulate Assin North MP-elect Hon. James Quayson

Wed, 28 Jun 2023 Source: Harrygraphic

The Cadres front of the National Democratic Congress has send a congratulatory message to the MP of Assin North Hon. James Gyakye Quason after his victory on 27th June 2023.

After series of controversies and sabotage, Hon. Quayson was re-elected into office by his constituents by a whopping 57.44%.

Their statement reads:

FOR IMMEDIATE PRESS RELEASE

CONGRATULATIONS FOR A DESERVED VICTORY AT ASSIN NORTH CONSTITUENCY

Members of the United Cadres Front of Ghana congratulate all stakeholders in their spirited efforts towards the victory that re-established Hon. Gyakye Quayson as the preferred and therefore legitimate Member of Parliament for the good people of the Assin North Constituency in the Central Region of Ghana.

The bye-election that took place yesterday, 27th June 2023, was a litmus test of the people to really resist the oppressor's rule as exhibited by Nana Addo and his New Patriotic Party through intimidation, vilification, use of political thugs, culture of lies, incumbency abuse, and blazing monetization of our political system.

The bye-election also proved that, the people of the Assin North Constituency understand the essence of politics as championed by the National Democratic Congress that, people go to the polls to choose or elect Candidates to lead them in their quest for schools, hospitals, roads, factories, peace and security.

On the heels of Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, the NDC have proved to be a nation builder, which the citizens of Assin North Constituency have endorsed as the right path to ensuring that the ordinary people of this country are liberated from the shackles of poverty and under-development.

The same bye-election has exposed the Nana Addo-Bawumia administration as the worst in the annals of Ghana's political history, despite the most resourced; and that, corruption, stealing of state funds, empty promises, excessive borrowing, unconscionable projects like the National Cathedral, and political sloganeering are enemies of progress.

While we congratulate the leadership of the Party, the Parliamentary Caucus, Party faithful, volunteers (sung and insung), the Ghana Police Service, the pro-NDC Media, progressive Traditional Leaders, the Religious Leaders and all patriotic citizens who ensured this sweet victory, we want to specially pat the backs of cadres who braved the nooks and crannies of Assin North to provide needed direction and vital information for the smooth movement and guidance of all operatives who were new to that Constituency.

Concluding, and as predicted, the Assin North Constituency bye-election served as the forerunner of the possible outcomes of the 2024 general elections. The victory of NDC is, therefore, surely coming again. Even though the road will be muddy and rough, with the concerted effort and goodwill of all patriots who want Ghana to rediscover itself as the shining star of Africa, HEAVEN KNOWS WE SHALL BE THE VICTOR.

NO RETREAT, NO SURRENDER
