The people who were hurt were selling yams and Mobile Money along the road when a Hyundai Elantra saloon car with the license plate number ER 796-21 crashed into them.
Eyewitnesses say that the car was going in the right direction until the driver suddenly lost control and went off the road.
A witness who barely got away told Akwasi Dwamena of Adom News that he saw the car coming but couldn't warn the people in time because he was afraid for his own safety.
When other people, like the owner of the hair salon, saw the car coming, they hid in the gutters and nearby shops.
But the car hit the Mobile Money seller hard and pushed the yam seller into a nearby kiosk before slamming to a stop.
The person who was stuck between the kiosk and the car took a lot of work to free.
The Mobile Money seller didn't say anything, and the yam seller's legs were badly hurt.
The victims were taken to the Nkawkaw Holy Family Hospital, where their condition is said to be very bad.
