Court Remands Godfadda the Greatest and Empress Lupita

Pastor Godfadda the Greatest and his wife, Empress Lupita, who gained fame as TikTok stars, have been taken into police custody by the TDC court in Tema. The couple has been accused of the tragic death of their two children. The Magistrate Court remanded them in custody, with a hearing scheduled for June 15.
Their story attracted attention when a video featuring them went viral on social media. As the video gained traction, acquaintances of the couple started sharing their own experiences, prompting some media outlets to conduct interviews to understand their perspective.
From these interviews, it became evident that their children's deaths were indirectly linked to their practices, as they had been subjecting them to starvation under the guise of fasting. Their surviving son, El Shaa, also came forward on social media, revealing the mistreatment he endured and eventually running away from home to ensure his own survival.
Due to public outcry and pressure, the police eventually arrested Pastor Godfadda the Greatest and Empress Lupita at their residence in Tema. They were subsequently charged with the murder of their children and presented before the court.
