God’s punishment awaits Sarkodie and Yvonne Nelson over abortion – Popular Actor

Mon, 26 Jun 2023 Source: iNews

In a recent interview on Kumasi-based Hello FM, Kumawood actor Oboy Siki expressed his strong belief that Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie and his former partner, actress Yvonne Nelson, will not escape divine retribution for their decision to abort a baby in 2010.

The public has been critical of Sarkodie ever since Yvonne Nelson revealed in her book, "I am not Yvonne Nelson," that he had impregnated her but they chose to terminate the pregnancy. Yvonne Nelson explained that Sarkodie, who claimed to be living under his mother's roof at the time, was not ready to become a father.

Oboy Siki, sharing his thoughts on the matter, passionately cursed both Sarkodie and Yvonne Nelson, firmly believing that God would punish them for their actions. He also stressed his unwavering stance that abortion is an immoral act and should never be encouraged, regardless of the circumstances.

Expressing his disappointment, Oboy Siki stated, "God will punish both of them. I stand firmly against abortion, but unfortunately, Ghanaians have come to view it as normal." He further criticized Sarkodie, calling his decision foolish. Oboy Siki questioned why the rapper, knowing that he had a promising future ahead, would choose to abort a human life. In his view, this act demonstrated a lack of intelligence and reasoning.

In conclusion, Oboy Siki strongly condemned Sarkodie and Yvonne Nelson for their choice to abort the baby and firmly believed that they would face divine consequences for their actions. He emphasized the inherent evil of abortion and expressed his disappointment with the normalization of such a practice in Ghanaian society.
