Model’s Body Found In A Metalic Box After Wishing Followers Happy Boxing Day

Details have shown that the man whose body was breaking down in Kipkenyo, Kapseret, Uasin Gishu county, was a model from Eldoret.

In his last Facebook post on December 26, Edwin Chiloba wished his followers a box full of surprises on Boxing Day. Unfortunately, a few days later, his body was found dumped in a metal box.

"I hope your celebrations last a long time and that you get a box full of surprises. I hope you have a happy and successful life. Happy Boxing Day, "Chiloba wrote in a Facebook post.

His social media profile says that he was a fashion designer at Chiloba Designs and a high-end model in Eldoret who walked the runways at beauty pageants.

On November 30, he posted a new picture with the words:

"Edwin, the people who tried to bury you didn't know you were a seed."

On January 3, people in the Mogombet area, Kapseret, Uasin Gishu county, were confused when someone in an unmarked car dropped off a dead body.

Barnabas Cheruiyot, a village elder in the area, said that a boda boda driver saw a vehicle without a license plate drop the metal box on the road between Kipenyo and Kaptinga.

"The metal box that the car just dropped made the driver suspicious. He went to the Simat chief and told him what was going on. The Simat chief sent police officers "said Cheruiyot.

When the police got to the scene, they opened the black metal box and found a body that was starting to rot inside.

At first, the police thought the body was that of a woman, but after a thorough check, they found that it was actually a man dressed as a woman.

Residents say that the people who dropped the box may have meant to put it in a quarry that used to be nearby but is now full.

"This is a shocking thing to happen. The person who did it may have thought that the quarry that Chinese road builders were using was still there. But when it was full, they didn't have anywhere else to put it "one resident said.

The body was taken to the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital (MTRH), where an autopsy will be done to find out what killed the person.
