A 29-year-old Kenyan woman caused a traffic jam while making out with her boyfriend in her car on Thika Road. She was fined Ksh20,000 or could go to jail for six months.

On January 24, 2023, the unnamed driver was given a sentence by a Makadara Law court after pleading guilty to making a scene and stopping traffic at Thika Road Mall in Roysambu.

The court was told that she had been caught by traffic officers from the Kasarani Police Station who were stationed near the Thika Road Mall.

When she was caught, she was with a man in a compromising position in a stopped car in the middle of the road. It's still not clear why they chose to make out on a busy road.

She was caught making out with a man in a car that was stopped in the middle of a busy road. No one knows why they decided to have sex in such a strange place.

The prosecution told the court that the police had asked the couple politely to move to the driveway, but they had been rude in response. "When the police told the accused person to leave, they got angry and started shouting at the officers. The officers had guns, and the accused is said to have even dared them to use them "what the defense said.

At the Kasarani Police Station, the officers told their boss what happened. The boss then sent more officers to overpower the two lovers and arrest them. At her trial, the woman admitted that what was said was true.

She begged the court for forgiveness, saying she was sorry and would never do it again. The judge told her she had to pay a fine of Ksh10,000 for each crime or go to jail for six months. She also had 14 days to appeal the decision.
