In a letter signed by Secretary to the President Nana Bediatuo Asante, an important message was conveyed to the newly appointed Director-General of GTEC.

In an official announcement made on Tuesday, 3 October 2023, it was revealed that Dr. Ahmed Jinapor Abdulai has been appointed as the Acting Director-General of the Commission. This decision comes as a significant development for the organisation, as Dr. Abdulai takes on this new role. With his vast experience and expertise in the field, Dr. Abdulai is well-suited to lead the Commission during this transitional period.

In a recent letter, it has been announced that Dr. Jinapor will be assuming the role of the new Director-General of GTEC. However, it is important to note that this appointment is subject to the receipt of the constitutionally required advice from the Advisory Council of the Commission, in consultation with the Public Services Commission.
