I Highly Commend The House Helps For Stealing Cecilia Dapaah’s Money; They Helped Stabilise The Dollar Rate-Kafui Amegah

Kafui Amegah, a member of the New Patriotic Party's communication team, has praised the thieves responsible for the larceny at the residence of Honourable Cecelia Dapaah.

In an interview with Kwaku Dawuro on the Movement In The Morning show, which airs on Movement TV/Wontumi radio, Kafui Amegah praised the accused househelps of the former Minister for Aviation and Sanitation and Water Resources, Honourable Cecelia Dapaah, for stealing thousands of dollars from her home.

According to him, the perpetrators must be released because their actions prevented a national crisis by stabilising the dollar rate.

He stated, "Friday's events have created a significant problem and diversion. Sometimes, Kwaku, after speaking with someone at a station, individuals will wait outside for you to give them money, as if you owe it to them. When you tell them there's no money, they believe you're lying; our lives are in danger because they believe we have money in our homes; and when you do programmes at night, you experience dread because you don't know who will be pursuing you. We do not enter politics for financial gain; politics is a form of devotion. If it were for financial gain, my brother would be very wealthy, but this is not the case.

Because the country was ill, I always bring up the time when the government asked everyone to release their hoarded funds into the system. Dollar was expensive, but Kwaku was more affordable; therefore, I commend the children for stealing the money. I commend them highly for what they did because they helped stabilise the dollar by injecting funds into the system, so if feasible, the police should release them. If the money had been deposited in the bank, Ghana would not be in a state of crisis."
