I Will Ditch NPP’s 202; Campaign, Move To Us If I Am Not Treated Right - Kennedy Agyapong

Kennedy Agyapong, Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin Central and New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer candidate, has conveyed his displeasure with the attacks from some party officials in the lead-up to the flagbearer election.

Agyapong has asserted that he will not participate in the party's 2024 General Election campaign if these assaults continue and he loses the election. Instead, he intends to relocate to the United States to appreciate life.

"I'm telling you, if they keep going in this direction, no. If things continue as they are, and I lose, I will return to the United States. You claim that you can triumph without Ken Agyepong.

"Allow Adomako Baafi and those other men to conduct the campaign. You believe I'm a fool for paying these young men to disparage me. If they cease, that's good. In an interview with Home Radio, Ken Agyapong emphasised, "If they don't, then count me out."

Agyapong maintains that he is prepared to lead the NPP into the 2024 General Election, but makes it clear that he will not consider losing the flagbearer election a significant setback.

He is confident that, if elected, he will be able to provide Ghanaians with pragmatic solutions to the numerous challenges they face.

Ahead of the upcoming elections, Ken Agyapong is considered one of the three leading candidates among the ten candidates competing for the NPP's presidential nomination.
