In anticipation of the upcoming Special New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential super delegates conference, set to take place on August 26, 2023, Mr. Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has been assigned the coveted number one slot on the ballot paper.

In a recent balloting event that took place on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, the results revealed the rankings of several candidates. Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen secured the second position, while Joe Ghartey came in third, and Kwadwo Poku claimed the fourth spot.

In the recent rankings, Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto, a prominent figure in the field of agriculture and former Minister of Agriculture, has achieved an impressive 5th position. Similarly, Kwabena Agyei Agyepong has secured the 6th slot, showcasing his notable accomplishments. These rankings reflect the recognition and respect these individuals have earned in their respective fields. In a recent development, the last four slots for a certain allocation have been filled by prominent individuals. Francis Addai-Nimoh secured the seventh position, followed by Dr. Kofi Konadu Apraku in eighth place. Boakye Kyeremanteng Agyarko claimed the ninth spot, while Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia rounded out the top ten. These individuals have now joined the ranks of those who have successfully secured their positions in this allocation.

With the conference just around the corner, the order in which candidates appear on the ballot paper is becoming increasingly important. This seemingly minor detail could have a significant impact on how the candidates are perceived and the strategies they employ in their bid for the NPP's presidential candidature.

In preparation for the upcoming November congress, the super delegates conference has been scheduled to streamline the pool of candidates to a more manageable number of five. This conference aims to narrow down the options and facilitate the decision-making process leading up to the highly anticipated event.
