The media personality Bridget Otoo has shared her opinion on Ghana's Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, saying that he is better suited as a deputy than a leader because of his comments and performance in government.

Otoo claims that Bawumia's constant attacks on the policies of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, show a lack of political maturity needed for the presidency.

Otoo also suggested that Bawumia may end his political career as vice president, as she thinks it would be difficult for him to beat Mahama in the upcoming 2024 general elections. She expressed worry over Bawumia's persistent attempts to discredit Mahama's 24-hour economy policy without giving solid reasons.

Bawumia, who is the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), hopes to become Ghana's next president. His main rival is Mahama, who has been promoting his innovative 24-hour economy policy aimed at increasing the country's prosperity. The 2024 elections will determine whether Bawumia successfully overcomes his competitors to achieve the presidency.
