An unidentified Doctor has offered a piece of advice to Ghanaians, urging them to consider relocating abroad in search of better opportunities and improved healthcare.
This advice stems from the doctor’s firsthand experience with the inadequacies of the healthcare system in Ghana.
The doctor shared the account on social media, recounting a tragic incident in which he had to refer a patient who ultimately died upon arrival at the hospital. This heartbreaking incident was a result of the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital’s inability to provide a bed for the patient.
Drawing from this distressing experience, the doctor passionately encouraged fellow Ghanaians to strive for financial stability and consider moving abroad.
Such a move, suggested, would provide access to superior healthcare facilities and services, ultimately leading to a better quality of life and opportunities for personal and professional growth.
In the Doctor’s words:
I just referred a patient who died on arrival simply because Korle-Bu says they don’t have a bed. See,as a doctor,my simple advice to you is,just get money or leave the country! You will die a death that could have been avoided.”
