A legal practitioner, lawyer Kwame Adofo, has indicated that it will be very difficult for Alan Kyerematen to make any impact in the November 4, 2023, elections if he does not form any alliance.
He says, considering Alan Kyerematen’s record in the past, his votes have kept dwindling and have never appreciated since he joined the political scene to battle for power.
“It will be difficult for any of the candidates to come close to Dr. Bawumia considering the results of the Super Delegates Conference. I can’t see the figures changing. People are sentimental and emotional. The reality is, I can’t see any of them beating Dr. Bawumia unless they come into some form of alliance.
At the polling station level, Kennedy and Alan are going to compete for the same votes. The people they are appealing to are the same, but you can see that Kennedy is more appealing to those who did not benefit from the current government as compared to Alan Kyerematen,” he said.
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) will elect their flagbearer on November 4, 2023, who will lead the political party to the 2024 elections.
