Dr. Osei Bonsu Dickson is named Deputy National Security Coordinator by Akufo-Addo.

The security community has overwhelmingly endorsed President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo's nomination of Dr. Osei Bonsu Dickson to be the Deputy National Security Coordinator.

To his new position, Dr. Dickson brings a comprehensive 25-year expertise in legal affairs and national security operations.

Prior to taking on this role, Dr. Osei Bonsu Dickson was a highly respected specialist in national security legislation, cyber, and maritime policy, having held a number of top positions within the Ministry of National Security.

Prior to this, he worked for the Ministry of National Security as a Chief Legal Advisor, Director for Security Governance, Director for Legal, Director for Intelligence Analysis, and Director in charge of Policy, Planning, Monitoring, and Evaluation.

Dr. Dickson has made contributions outside of the Ministry as well. Among his many board appointments are the Financial Intelligence Center (FIC), the Ghana Boundary Commission (GhBC), the Expresso Telecom Group, and the Africa Center for Strategic Studies.

The national security community is excited and satisfied about the appointment, and many have endorsed President Akufo-Addo's selection of the seasoned lawyer and security specialist for the role.

Several security specialists, who wished to remain anonymous, expressed their happiness with the President's choice and emphasized the potential benefits of Dr. Osei Bonsu Dickson's broad expertise and special abilities in furthering national security efforts.
