Nana Adwoa Awindor, the host of the popular television show “Greetings From Abroad,” has revealed that her daughter, singer Efya, has lost good investors due to the spread of false news about her.

Speaking on Joy Prime on August 16, 2023, Nana Adwoa Awindor said that she always tells her daughter to ignore the negativity and focus on her work, as such news will eventually die down.

“I know my daughter, and I tell her not to take it to heart, but to pray about it and let it go. These stories break her because they often come at times when we are working on something to promote her. That’s why I say we need to be careful about what we say and do, because you never know the consequences.

“There was a time when we were working on a major project, and then this news broke. If you are an investor and you want to invest in someone, and you hear these things, whether they are true or not, you may take a step back to investigate before you do anything,” she said.

The queen mother of Afigya-Kwabre in the Ashanti Region said that she has no regrets about supporting her daughter’s music career, despite the negative publicity that has clouded her success.

She expressed optimism about Efya’s future and said that the negativity will only serve as “fuel” to propel her to greater heights.

“As a mother, it makes me sad, but I know God has a better plan for her. Maybe these stories are a kind of fuel, because they do affect us. But like I said earlier, the best is yet to come, and we are not going to dwell on the past. I believe in the future, and it is brighter and better, and we are praying for it, and it will come,” she said.
