Chef Faila is pushing the limits of gastronomic endurance, and her cookathon trek in the northern portion of Ghana has garnered national attention.

With more than 80 hours of constant culinary experience under her belt, Chef Faila's tenacity and positivity are well-known in the community.

She assured Ghanaians in a national interview that she was on a mission to not only break but also create a new cookathon record before the event started.

Chef Faila said in the interview that she saw her involvement in the longest cooking marathon held by the Guinness World Record as a national duty.

She also stated that she thought it would be a shame for Ghanaians as well as a personal setback if she couldn't steal the championship from Alan Fisher.

Moreover, she stated that with the overwhelming support she expected from the country, the current president would likewise be ashamed of such a failure.

"Breaking this record is Ghana's aim, not just a personal ambition. Failure is not an option as we are representing our country internationally.

During the interview, Chef Faila stressed, "I feel a great responsibility to bring this title home and make all Ghanaians proud."
