Ken Agyapong’s late decision to contest is his problem – Vim Lady

Radio and television personality Afua Pokua, known popularly as Vim Lady, says Kennedy Agyapong would have caused an upset if he had made his decision to contest the flagbearership of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) earlier.

She says Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has had several years to improve himself and sell himself to the members of the political party.

Therefore, it will be difficult for Kennedy Agyapong, who made his decision to contest only in 2023.

“This election, it’s more likely Bawumia will win. You can disagree with me but that is my opinion based on my analysis. Kennedy Agyapong has really done well. Bawumia started marketing himself in 2008, compared to Kennedy Agyapong, who just showed interest.

Kennedy Agyapong has done well in this election. If he had the laxity of Dr. Bawumia, he would have done very well. As of 2019, Kennedy Agyapong hadn’t decided if he would contest so that is what has gone against him. If Ken had decided to contest earlier Ken would have been home and dry by now,” she said.
