The New Patriotic Party (NPP) come Saturday, November 4 is preparing for its flagbearer race elections to select their preferred presidential candidate for 2024 general elections.
The election is expected to be held across the 275 constituencies in all the sixteen regions of the country.
The member of parliament for Sefwi Akontombra Constituency in the Western North Region, Hon.Alex Djornobuah Tetteh has emphatically stated that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) delegates who are expected to vote come this weekend, should kindly showdown 90% votes to Dr Bawumia to calm down brouhaha and to send a signal to everyone that he is the only person at the moment to lead the party.
He, added that the vice president has shown a good dedication, maturity, competency and for that situation he is the man to lead the party and possiblyto break the 8.
Hon. Alex Djornobuah Tetteh stressed out that for the vice president to secure 80-90% votes will make Ghanaians believed that he has the support of the party and possibly can dismantle the NDC in their strongholds.
Hon.Alex Djornobuah Tetteh, moreover, explained that the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has laid down the foundation and it needs the digital man (Bawumia) to accomplish what his government has already started in the country.
He, said, through the able leadership of president Akufo Addo-Bawumia’s administration, they have discovered lithium, oil in Volta Basin, Northern region, and drone for delivery and it clearly shows that the NPP has what it takes to rule the country.
Finally, he opined that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has a message ahead of 2024 general elections, and the NDC nightmare is Dr. Bawumia since they are afraid of him and hope to organize a debate between Dr.Mahamud Bawumia and John Dramani Mahama in all the sixteen regions to see who is more competent to lead the country.
