Rockstone believes that Rex Omar's guidance to Asantewaa prior to the Sing-a-thon was appropriate and accurate.

Rex Omar gave Asantewaa excellent guidance before to the Sing-a-thon competition, according to Reginald Yaw Asante Osei, also known as Reggie Rockstone.

Renowned music rights activist Rex Omar counseled Afua Asantewaa to get consent from the artists whose songs she plans to perform during her singing marathon.

He answered on Cape Coast's Property FM. "There's no jealousy in this; Rex Omar gave Asantewaa sound advise that she can follow to safeguard what she's doing.

He said, "Rex Omar's advice was very sensible and we fully support her if she wants to do a singing marathon using songs from Ghana."

According to Reggie Rockstone, unlike Nigerians for Basi's Cook-a-thon, Ghanaians initially didn't support Asantewaa's Sing-a-thon competition very much.

"You saw the overwhelming support that Nigerians gave to a lady who decided to cook to beat the world record when we were here.

"They created a lot of buzz until the woman became well-known worldwide, but when a Ghanaian decided to follow suit, just have a look at the kind of comments that were left."
