The 'CASA SHS SUMMIT 2023' is scheduled to take place at the University of Ghana on Saturday, June 3, and will feature a keynote address from a renowned actor who also serves as the UN Ambassador in Ghana for Obstetric Fistula.

Students in their senior year of high school who are interested in enrolling in postsecondary education for the first time but are unsure about which academic major to pursue or which career path to pursue will attend this summit.

It is expected of the actor to impart some of his wisdom and experience to the pupils, as well as provide some direction for their future careers.

It is anticipated that thousands of students from all over the world will participate in the event that is being planned by the Global Star Education Outreach in collaboration with the Noble – Afis Educational Consult and UNIGAPS.

Other people who are scheduled to speak at the summit include Dr. Emmanuel Ampofo, who is a lecturer at the University of Ghana, and Dr. Patrick Owusu Asare, who is a motivational speaker.

The Chief Executive Officer of Nobleaffis Educational Consult, Mohammed kobina Affisah, made the following statement: "We noticed that each year our educational institutions are churning out huge numbers of students, but mostly many students do not know which courses to select right at the point of filling out their forms." In addition, some children do not spend their time surrounded by their parents, who are therefore unable to provide them with direction. Because of this, the summit will provide these students with information regarding the courses that are offered at universities and the choice that they must make so that they do not wind up selecting courses that they do not enjoy. Because of the error that they committed at the very beginning, the majority of these students even wind up dropping out of their classes as the semester progresses. It was emphasized.

Rhodaline Nyame, the Financial Secretary of the University of Ghana Psychology Students Association, UNIGAPS, stated that the organization chose to collaborate on the event because of the significant benefits it offers to students.

The event is open to all students and will not cost them anything, and it will provide information about available scholarship opportunities.
