Campaigning will be difficult – Constituency Secretary rejects Adwoa Safo Dome-Kwabenya NPP comeback

According to the Constituency Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Dome-Kwabenya, presenting incumbent Member of Parliament (MP) Sarah Adwoa Safo as the party's Parliamentary Candidate again in 2024 may signal doom.

According to Theophilus Ansah Larbi, such a move will only benefit the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).

It will be considerably more difficult for him to campaign for the NPP if Adwoa Safo is retained as the Parliamentary Candidate.

He disclosed that the party worked hard to win the seat in the 2020 elections because of the MP's attitude.

"In the last elections, all of these things Adwoa [Safo] has been doing started before the elections," Mr Ansah Larbi revealed on Thursday, September 14.

"She did not contribute to the campaign in any way."
