William Cyril Cohen, age 29, was apprehended by Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) security personnel for posing as a medical professional.
Monday morning, while physicians were supposed to be in the wards and consulting rooms, William Cyril Cohen was spotted lurking between the Chest Clinic and Accident and Emergency Block.
Upon seeing him, the Director of Nursing inquired whether he was a physician or a nurse.
Although he responded "Yes," he became agitated and attempted to flee when further questions were asked.
The on-duty security personnel gave pursuit and arrested him.
Upon further questioning by hospital authorities, he verified he was not a physician.
He was delivered to the Kumasi Central Police Station for further investigation.
