Football Association of Ghana
The Ghana Football Association has increased the filing fee for its presidency from GH5,000 to GH50,000, according to a press release issued on Tuesday, June 27, 2023.
The Ghana Football Association will hold elections for new executives in October 2023, as the current president, Kurt Edwin Simon Okraku, assumed office in October 2019.
The nomination form for Executive Council positions is also increased from GH 2,500 to GH 15,000.
The preceding charges were formulated by the Normalization Committee following the Number 13 era and prior to the administration of Kurt Okraku.
Other promotions within the Regional Associations and for other positions were also announced in the press release.
The proposed amendments will be presented to Congress for consideration on July 10, 2023.
