GFA proposes three presidential terms with two vice presidents.

Currently, the GFA presidency is limited to two four-year mandates, per the 2019 statutes developed by the Dr. Kofi Amoah-led Normalisation Committee.

The current statutes also limit the vice president to no more than three terms, while Executive Council members are also limited to three terms.

However, according to Joy Sports, the GFA's Statutes Review Committee has proposed a review of the presidential term limit.

In a report submitted to the Executive Council, the Committee reportedly recommended that Congress extend the presidential term to three terms.

In addition, they propose two vice presidents for the Ghana FA, one of whom will exclusively oversee women's football.

In addition, the Committee requests that the number of Executive Council members be increased from 12 to 23, in order to include representatives from Regional Football Associations.

ExCo Members Randy Abbey and Frederick Acheampong, the GFA's attorney, Naa Odofoley Nortey, CEO of Great Olympics, Oluboi Commodore, and Pacific Heroes' Eric Oppong Yeboah submitted the proposal to the Executive Council.
