Some school-aged minors in Ejisu-Besease have received educational supplies.

The intervention will encourage and enhance their academic performance.

The Hope Over Borders Foundation, in collaboration with the Institute for Youth Development – Ghana, donated books, purses, footwear, pens, and pencils to the students of St Mary R/C primary and Besease M/A junior high school.

Cletus Nimoh, headmaster of Besease M/A Junior High School, stated that the intervention was opportune.

"The government cannot do everything, so NGOs and other individuals must assist in the education sector. These products will significantly encourage children to learn more, as stated by Cletus Nimoh.

Kiera Kyei-Mensah, the founder of Hope Over Borders, stated that the intervention is part of her strategy to invest in the education of Ghanaian children.

"When I inspected schools in Ghana in 2022, I discovered that some of them lacked learning materials. I determined that I would do my best to assist them. As a result, when I returned to the United States, I petitioned those I know to donate whatever they could and eventually organized the delivery of the articles. I eagerly anticipate continuing this."

Some of the students who received learning materials thanked the benefactors and promised to make good use of them.

It is anticipated that computers and other learning materials will enhance instruction and learning.

Additionally, the Foundation donated eight hospital beds and six infant cribs to the mother and child unit of Maddona Clinic in Besease.
