MTN Mobile Money (MoMo) is a mobile financial service provided by MTN, a prominent African and Middle Eastern telecommunications provider. MoMo enables customers to use their mobile phones to transmit and receive money, pay bills, purchase airtime and data, and conduct other financial transactions.
Customers must register for MTN Mobile Money at an MTN service center or authorized agent in order to use the service. Once registered, consumers can access the service by dialing *170# on their mobile phones and following the on-screen instructions. Customers can also access the service and conduct transactions via the MoMo app.
