In preparation for the upcoming by-election, the Inspector General of Police will be conducting an assessment in Kumawu.

Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, the Inspector General of Police, is currently in Kumawu, which is located in the Ashanti Region. He is there to check in with the police deployment that is currently in place and to evaluate the state of security preparations in front of the elections on Tuesday.

On Saturday, the 20th of May, he came in the region.

The Inspector General of Police and a number of other top police personnel have been seen strolling across the city.

As part of a security tour that is being conducted in preparation for the next by-election, they have been engaging in conversation with members of the local community, as well as police officers and motorists.
