Nobody is perfect in this world, stop taking sides with Stonebwoy and Sarkodie over me – Shatta Wale condemns industry bias

Charles Nii Armah Mensah, better known by his stage name Shatta Wale, is a Ghanaian dancehall performer. He has recently and courageously addressed what is believed to be industry bias as well as similarities between himself, Sarkodie, and Stonebwoy that have long surrounded his career.

In an interview on Empire 102.7FM, the musician who is frequently at the center of numerous issues disclosed that there is favoritism and a selective spotlight on some artists in the industry. The artist has frequently found himself in the center of various problems.

It is unfair for the music industry, in the singer of "Taking Over's" opinion, to exalt artists like Stonebwoy and Sarkodie as the best, despite the fact that each of these artists have had their fair share of problematic moments.

"If you want to show favoritism and take sides, you support Stonebwoy and Sarkodie and say that they are the best, but they will continue to disgrace us," she said. He questioned how it was possible for someone to make a comment such as "imagine Shatta Wale with a diplomatic passport."

Shatta Wale continued by contrasting the scrutiny he endures with examples from his peers in order to draw attention to what appeared to be double standards.

"I can also say imagine Stonebwoy pulling a gun on stage. Imagine that," he said. Imagine if Sarkodie had engaged in sexual activity with a woman and then released a diss track directed at her after the fact. What are your thoughts on the matter? He made the pointed observation that "no one is perfect in this world."

When you get to know Shatta Wale on a personal level, he is a very reserved and shy person. Nadia Adongo Musah is her name.

Shatta Wale, who is 38 years old, made it very obvious that no one is exempt from the possibility of imperfection. He also asked the industry to concentrate on the business of music rather than on personal scandals.

He continued by saying, "We simply have to stop acting like we're not in the business here because it is business."

Following on the heels of Radio host Ola Michael's public rejection of him being awarded a diplomatic passport, Shatta Wale has chimed in to express his disagreement with the decision, citing his "ill conduct" on social media.

The artist formerly known as Bandana, who is renowned as the "Dancehall King," has stated that he will not permit parallels between himself and Sarkodie to lessen the significance of his legacy.

"The minute you compare myself to Sarkodie, you give him the impression that he's better than me. When I chat to him, he wants to be close to me and touch my shoulder. Where I have been, he has never been before; this is a first for him. You folks make it seem as though Sarkodie is more significant than I am. "In his entire life, he will never be able to surpass me in importance," he went on to say.
