The Executive Director of Peace Watch Ghana, Madam Nyonkopa Daniels, has responded to the alleged assassination of Maa Adwoa by the Police Inspector.

She mentioned in her narration that she had learned the police officer had exhibited signs of mental instability, but no one had paid attention to him.

She told Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm's Frontline presenter Kwabena Agyapong that the police officer who allegedly murdered the woman arranged a lavish funeral for his deceased mother.

After the funeral, he would typically visit the gravesite of his late mother to slumber there. Therefore, when others began to notice these indicators about him, they should have notified the Ghana Police Service."

If the allegations against him were true, someone close to him should have intervened, according to her.

She also believes that a significant number of police officers are aggressive due to melancholy, anxiety, and other mental disorders.

The authorities, according to Madam Daniels, are also burdened by problems.

She has advocated for a system in which police officers receive the essential psychological support as part of their duties.

She emphasized that anyone who observed the Police Officer exhibiting these symptoms was obligated to notify the Ghana Police Service so he could be evaluated and referred to a clinical psychologist.

She also stated that officers are required to utilize the service's psychologist, although many do not.
