Former President John Dramani Mahama and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) will lose the general elections in 2024, according to Ernest Owusu Bempah, the NPP's deputy director of communications.

He claimed that Mr. Mahama had no superior performance records while in government on which the Ghanaian people would base their decision to re-elect him.

Speaking to media in Accra, Mr. Owsus Bempah emphasized that the NDC will not prevail in the next general elections by recalling the power outage, the termination of teacher and nursing trainee allowances, and other corruption scandals that took place under the Mahama administration.

He remarked, "We'll retire him in 2024.

"It is a shame he can have that shenanigans even to," he continued dream of contesting to want to be president for just for four years after spending 35 years enjoying every position one can ever think of.

“He brought dumsor for 4 years, unprecedented in our country’s history, the most corrupt leader of our time i.e Airbus Scandal,Ford gift, Gyeeda, SADA, Saglemi, Ambulance,Bus Branding and his incompetence was beyond human reasoning…poor management of the Ghanaian economy with 3.5% growth when there was no global recession ie covid /Russia Ukraine war.

We remember him for the cancelation of teacher training and nurses allowances, he could not provide free SHS and jobs to the Ghanaian youth.”

Mr Mahama was recently elected the flagbearer of the NDC ahead of the 2024 general elections.

He criticized the current government for destroying the economy and hence wants to be voted for.
