Her incredible beauty made her appear younger than her actual age. Some critics, however, believe that she does not portray the Christlike existence as a gospel artist.
Joyce had always had a passion for music and began singing in the chapel at age 14. In spite of her mother's endeavors to prevent her from attending, she never missed a local musical performance when she was younger.
Joyce has possibly dispelled the preconceived notion that gospel musicians are unmoving on stage. In Kumasi, the "See Them Band" ensemble allowed her to refine her live performance skills.
She was the most recent of the group. She supported musicians in Ghana for five years, including Evangelist Diana Asamoah, Jewel Ackah, Mary Ghansah, Ernest Opoku Jr., and Aseibu Amanfi, among others.
