I am thinking aloud. I found myself as one concern about NDC and Ghana.
In my confusion and dismay, I tried finding closure in my heart and soul therefore I paid attention listening to Muntaka yesterday, the 26th January, 2023, at the press conference organized by the old NDC leadership of parliament.
This was what he said, and I paraphrased him, "the party NDC has a channel of communication as well as decision making process. Therefore, there will never and ever be any circumstances whatsoever where one executive and or some fraction of them will come public to make any declaration." on qout
If indeed, what Muntaka said is true subjected to verification that the decision to appoint new parliamentary leadership were made by only some few group of individuals having the blessings of Chairman and General Secretary as it appears now then NDC supporters and or sympathizers are in big troubles going into the future.
Yes, we are all in big mess. Why am I saying so.....?
1. What would anyone say if these same few group of individuals come tomorrow and say we do not need H. E. John Dramani Mahama to lead the party NDC as Presidential candidate and the Chairman and General Secretary agreed ....?
2. What would anyone say if tomorrow Chairman and General Secretary should announce publicly that henceforth they are not going to allow National Congress to take place again, and therefore the conduct of Constituency Executives Elections are nill and void.. ......?
3. What would anyone say, in the event that NDC wins election in 2024 and then the president elect declares that, 'I will not allow the General Secretary of the party and or Chairman to seat in my cabinet'... ....?
4. What would anyone say if Volta region being the world bank of NDC decide that they are going to impose presidential candidate on the party and if not, they will not entertain any NDC party activities in the region.
I think the new NDC party National Executives knew the cards they were playing in communicating the said new changes of leadership in parliament.
I am of the strongest view and opinion. Yes, I believe that they averted their mind on the issues of credibility, integrity and confidence needed to run the affairs of office they occupied currently.
I can only wish them well and pray for them that whatever merit and demerit that were considered before arriving at that decision should reach out to the heart of everyone on the street who have NDC at heart so that together we stay and work as one family. We need power from NPP come 2024 and we do not care how they intend to lead us toward achieving that ultimate goal.
Our new National Executives, we know are uncompromising, fantastic and capable in delivering what we elected them to do.
Therefore we must all call for PEACE and UNITY. Whatever is in the coffin should be buried as early as possible. 2024 is just around the corner.
