National President of Artisans Association of Ghana has called for a total Cancellation of the government’s flagship policy, Free Senior High School ( Free SHS ).
In an interview with Asona Dehyie Kwateng, president of the association, Mr Gideon Bidor said, government must be bold to cancel the policy and Pay Serious attention to the informal sector to support the Artisan Association Of Ghana and others who are ever ready to help in job creation for the youth,"
Artisans such as, carpentry, mechanic work, hairdressing, dressmaking, plumbing, welding and mason work are playing their, but needs government support and intervention.
Mr Bidor added that , Ghanaians must develop a taste of locally manufactured goods as a means of stalling the depreciation of the cedi.
