Koforidua - Adweso District Minister of Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Reverend Eric Yeboah, delivering the gospel at Ascension Mega Congregation of the church at Koforidua, has admonished parents, teachers and guardians to make necessary efforts to get good educational training for children.

Reverend Yeboah said in his message that good education is the gateway to good life.

He said it is the avenue through which children develop with the right mind to become sources of blessings and joy to parents, guardians, the community, the church and the nation.

The event was the culmination of a full week on the calendar of the church dubbed EDUCATION WEEK to sensitize the children on the importance of education and Holistic education which goes with training of the Heart, Head and Hand.

Reverend Eric Yeboah said with such good training, moral life is shaped to bring out the best from children.

The love and fear of God and love for humanity are inculcated into the children.

Furthermore, Rev Yeboah said moral education coupled with education of the head and hand brings the best out of children and makes them succeed in whichever community they find themselves.

He said God-fearing, decent behavior and vocationally trained children, are factors of peaceful coexistence with parents, friends and people in communities.

Rev Eric Yeboah said such educated children hate all forms of evil behavior.

They do not go into the night with crowbars, pliers, hammers, screwdrivers, pistols or cutlasses to break into other people's homes.

They become the pride of their parents and relatives and the ego of any of such children is often boosted whenever any happens to be introduced in a group of people or to any other person.

Reverend Eric Yeboah spoke about the importance of Prayer of Support from parents, from teachers and from people of God to keep children steady as they go through this world where the wicked one seeks to steal and destroy.

He said unfortunately, some children who go in and out without any form of Prayer Support are captured by evil forces and that most of such children end up in captivity and dragged into dungeons where smokers, drunkards, occultists, bloodthirsty beings, sakawa' and the like, gang up.

Rev. Eric Yeboah therefore urged all to support the children in prayers in order to enjoy the best out of them.
