The Methodist Church Of Ghana, Koforidua Dioceses, Maase Circuit has celebrated the 110 years Anniversary at Akyem Maase on the 12th August, 2023 on the Theme "110years Of Dedicated Ministry".
The function was chaired by Osabarima Adu Asare I , Akyem Maase Chief.
The Very Rev. Dennis Boadu, Secretary of Synod speaking as guest of honour, congratulated the Church and added that, the congregation should be true vine in their daily activities to sustain the legacy of the Church as they celebrate their 110th year.
He added that, the church together with its basic shool have produced a lot of bigwigs and called into bring back to the society for socio-economic development of the community and Ghana as a whole.
Very Rev. Kwame Ajei Forson, Supt. Minister of Mount Olivet Methodist Church, Akyem Maase, speaking at the sideline of the celebration thanked the Almighty God for how far He has brought the church and thanked all the members for their continuous support which has enabled the Akyem Maase Circuit to have branches at Anyinasin and Osino.
He further cautioned the youth to be mindful of the use of social media and said it is a tool that can harm their future if not used judiciously.
The church used the celebration to commission a newly constructed gallery for the Church Choir.
Citations were also presented to some twenty-four (24) deserving members of the Church.
