The Municipal Security Council of Lower West Akyem in the Eastern Region of Ghana headed by Hon Seth oduro Boadu have issued a release of them, knowing one chief in Asamankese.
From the release, Osaberima Adu Darko lll is the legitimate chief they know he has been gazetted by the National House of Chiefs and known by Osagyefo Amotia Ofori Panni- Okyenhene and anyone who declared himself as a chief of Asamankese is a threat to the Lower West Akyem and the country as a whole.
"We are ready to protect the peace in Asamankese and Ghana as a whole, so we won't sit idle for any individual or group of people to destroy the peace and harmony in Asamankese, and it's enclave". Hon Seth Oduro Boadu.
In the release they stated that there is no letter from the court stating an injunction on this year's Obodwan Festival. Any individual or group of people who want to seek an injunction should do so a week to the festival for proper law enforcement but not to think of anything else to disturb the peace of the Municipality.
