Government Should Rather Pay Taxes To Churches- Rev Emmanuel Boachie

Fri, 20 Jan 2023 Source: Nana Boateng kakape

Zacchaeus was taxing God's children (Israelites) for the Roman Government. Authority.

Mr. Timore Boi is not fastidious enough in his analysis as a taxation expert in differentiating a presidential initiative (promise to God) from Christian Council or a Christian Denomination Initiative.

In his analysis it should have been brought to the table that all Government Officials also should consider funding their own institutional building projects in Ghana, for instance, Internal Revenue Authority and their clients should be taxed to build their facilities, the new proposed parliament house should be built by parliamentarians and electorates, school buildings should be built by teachers and students, hospital should be built by medical professionals and patients.

If the person in question will be sincere, discerning and analytical within all spectrum, he will realise that it is actually the state that should pay levy to the church, because there is no non-governmental organisation on earth that has contributed towards national development globally throughout history than the church, especially in the areas of education, hospital, orphanage, charity, life support schemes, craft, scholarship schemes, etc.

The Church of Pentecost in Ghana is building prison camps and police stations, schools, hospitalshould, etc. These are what society expect from Governments of their nations, so if the church is doing them, then, every reasonable person should rather encourage the government to support the church but not to collect taxes from them.

"I pray that one day Mr. Timore Boi will meet Jesus Christ as did Zacchaeus and make confessions of all the corrupt practices at Revenue Services and further on realise that he and his Government should rather recompensate the people and God they have defrauded.

God should not count their sins against them, but have mercy on them!" Rev.Emmanuel Boachie emphasized.
