I WANT TO BE IN PARLIAMENT TO IMPROVE CONSTITUENTS' SOCIO- ECONOMIC LIVES - ASPIRING MP CANDIDATE FOR LEDZOKUKU - NII ASHITTEY OLLENNU
An aspiring parliamentary candidate on the ticket of the new patriotic party (NPP) in the Teshie Ledzokuku constituency, Hon. Nii Ashittey Ollennu has expressed his determination to become MP for the area to improve the socio - economic lives of the Constituents.
In an interview with the media Hon. Ashittey Ollennu pointed out some reasons why he should be given the opportunity to become the next member of Parliament.
One of his major policies that he will bring on board is to nurture the youth for generational leadership, and he explained that there are a lot that can be done to help the youth, if the youth will aspect it than they have to be trained into good leadership.
"Once they have that leadership skills, when you help them to do something, then they will appreciate and do those things well and properly". He said.
Again he will encourage the youth into entrepreneurship so that they can do something for themselves and also training programs which will help them get something to do with their own hands which is hand skills work.
Hon. Nii Ashittey Ollennu stated that he has started Ollennu Petty Traders Program which he mentioned that together with his team, they will support the youth and the entire traders with a little amount as 500 Ghana cedis each to help them expand their trade, not leaving skill training of the youth in his area.
He satad that with this little things that he has already started doing for his constituency is going to be expanded to the higher level if he is given the chance to become the member of parliament.
He further talked about poor sanitation problems in Teshie Ledzokuku and it communities and how he will find ways and means to collaborate with the office of sanitation and Zoomlion to expand the waste disposer methods.
Finally Hon. Ollennu urged all the NPP delegates and the entire people of Teshie to consider his good thoughts and good policies that he has for the constituency to give him a chance to become the next MP for Ledzokuku.
