The Eastern Regional Youth Organizer for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Adamu Musa Raha has said the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is making a confusing argument with its position on the limited registration exercise.

According to the Youth Organizer, the NDC in one breadth insisting to place court injunction on the exercise and in another breadth they are canvassing their supporters to get registered.

Mr. Adamu Musa Raha spoke on Koforidua-based Afeema FM in a phone interview with Kaakyire Kwasi Afari on Ghana Nsempa morning show on Wednesday.

The regional youth organizer described the main opposition NDC as the most disorganized and confused political party in the country as far as the limited registration is concerned.

Because, he said, the Chairman of the opposition NDC is unfit to lead the party due to his inconsistency after he ( Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketia) urged all eligible members of the NDC to partake in the ongoing limited registration exercise despite their strong opposition.

“infact the NDC is a confused and most disorganized party in Ghana now. At one breadth they want to paint the EC black before Ghanaians and in another breadth, their chairman is calling on their supporters to register" he told Kaakyire Kwasi Afari.

Adamu Musa Raha added that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is not a serious political party hence Ghanaians must not take them serious in the upcoming 2024 general elections.

The regional youth organizer recounted that the NDC's administration under John Mahama was characterized by power outages, bad governance and mismanagement of the economy which heaped unthinkable economic hardship on Ghanaians.

When asked about his observations on the limited registration exercise across the region, Adamu Musa Raha said, he was impressed on the first day and was hopeful the numbers would increase going forward.

However, he admitted that the exercise in some constituencies in the Eastern region halted for few hours as EC’s biometric machines failed to work due to poor internet connectivity and intermittent power supply.

To this end, he has urged the Electoral Commission to expand the period of the limited voter's registration exercises to allow more eligible voters to register.

He also called on the EC to make their machines effective for the registration exercise in all the district offices to allow for smooth exercise to reduce burden on the citizenry in their quest to register.

Meanwhile, he has commended party agents and participants for conducting themselves well.

The youth wing of the party in the region finally urged all eligible voters to take advantage of the limited voter registration exercise to have their names in the electoral roll.
