St. Paul's Technical School (SPATS), Akyem Kukuratumi, on Tuesday 12th September, 2023 took delivery of one hundred and fifty (150) bunk beds and three hundred (300) pieces of students mattresses from the Member of Parliament of Abuakwa North Constituency in the Eastern Region of Ghana who doubles as the Deputy Minister of Education in charge of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Honourable Gifty Twum-Ampofo.
SPATS, one of the best Technical Schools in the Country has seen tremendous increase in enrollment oflate with inadequate beds to support the intake.
To mitigate the challenge, the Principal of the school, Mr. Benjamin Adjabeng, reported the situation to the Member of Parliament.
Honourable Gifty Twum-Ampofo upon hearing this challenge, promised to do everything within her powers to lobby for beds for the school hence, the presentation of 150 bunk beds with 300 pieces of students mattresses.
