STOP MENTIONING JB DANQUAH'S NAME, AS PART OF YOUR CAMPAIGN MESSAGE. KWAKU BOATENG CAUTIONS HON KENNEDY AGYAPONG

The NDC Akyem Abuakwa North parliamentary hopeful, Mr. Edgar Asamoah Boateng, popularly known as KB, also a nephew to the late Hon. Joseph Boakye Danquah Adu (JB), has cautioned the Assin Central Member of Parliament, Hon. Kennedy Ohene Agyapong to stop mentioning JB Danquah's name as part of his campaign message.

According to him, the late JB Danquah Adu’s murder has not been treated with seriousness by the NPP government since they came into office.

KB said, " the family is very disappointed in this government’s lukewarm approach to resolving the late MP’s murder. He also noted the failure of H.E. President Akufo-Addo in fulfilling his promise to seek justice for the family. Besides, the member of Parliament for Abuakwa North Constituency, Hon. Gift Twum Ampofo, who succeeded the late Hon J.B has also not shown any interest that is why she has not even commented on the case since she was voted into office"

The late MP was brutally murdered at his Shiashie residence in Accra moments after he was reported to have returned home on February 9, 2016.

Hon. Kennedy Agyapong, the self-acclaimed friend of the late JB, according to his own submission some time ago, claimed he was the first person to appear at the house when the Hon. MP was murdered.

Surprisingly, we don't know who informed him of the late MP’s demise almost immediately after he had been murdered.

Kwaku Boateng stated that the family is not happy or satisfied with the way the case has been handled by the legal system and the party.

The late JB Danquah Adu was a member of Parliament and was a major financial support of the party. Unfortunately, it would appear that circumstances surrounding his death have not been an issue of concern to the NPP Government.

Again, Kwaku Boateng cautioned the Hon MP to stop mentioning their beloved brother JB Danquah Adu's name as he, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong, is using the Late Hon. J. B’s name as one of his major campaign messages. If Hon. Kennedy Agyapong could not do anything as the first to arrive on the scene as he claims, and a leading member of the NPP, then we take his ridiculous statement as mocking the late Hon. JB Danquah Adu.

"Hon. Kennedy Agyapong can not throw dust into the eyes of Ghanaians with the claim of finding the killers of the late JB when voted into power as president of the Republic.”

Kennedy Agyapong in an interview on Good Evening Ghana on Tuesday (January 31, 2023) said, he will find the killers of JB and one other if he becomes president to exonerate himself.

He said, " what I will do if I'm elected president is, I will encourage the police to investigate the case to the bottom to uncover everything ........ I wanted to tell you that if I'm elected today, whether the case is dead or not I will bring it back again to investigate.
